Lionel Thevathasan, MD FRCS

Lionel holds an MD degree from London University. He undertook a career in surgery and then neurosurgery in Cambridge and gained his Fellowship at the Royal College
of Surgeons of England. Following his surgical career, Lionel went on to hold Medical Director positions of increasing responsibility including Global Medical Director, Cardiovascular.

Lionel founded LT Associates Ltd in 2010. He also holds a faculty position as
Assistant Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, NY, USA

Emma Marshman, PhD
Principal Medical Writer, LT Associates Ltd

Emma completed a PhD in preclinical pharmacology then conducted 4 years’
research in pharmacology/cell biology.

Emma became a Medical Writer in 2002 and has since written a broad range of scientific and
medico-marketing documents and presentations for a number of major pharmaceutical
companies across many therapy areas.

Lionel and Emma are further supported by a team of highly experienced
medical writers and design professionals, who help them to provide scientifically
sound, well-presented materials in a timely manner, meeting high-quality standards
and achieving strategic objectives.
