Media Interview Training
Never underestimate the power of the media – everything you
say and do is magnified and recorded for all to see and hear. So
be prepared!
Whatever the news story, we can train people how to be
effective and put across their message – in quotes, ‘sound
bites’ or ‘video bites’.
Our journalists make the best interviewers, who can coax
people to be confident and enthusiastic when telling their ‘good
news’ stories, while briefing them on how to avoid the possible
pitfalls.

They can also give a ‘grilling’ to those people who may be in
the public eye at times of bad news, advising on the strategies
they can use to keep control of the interview.
They are always backed up by a PR professional, who can give
constructive feedback and opinion from the other side.
LTA has helped many leading NHS professionals to manage media
interviews.
We have recently been helping NHS clients prepare for media
interest around swine flu.
The key to all media interviews is to be prepared and have a
clear structured approach, ensuring that your message gets
across to the audience.
If you have a particular event or issue that is likely to
gain media interest we can tailor the media training
package to that specific issue.
We will also provide a cameraman to produce a realistic
atmosphere and the ability for participants to see how they did.
